Policies & Procedures
The professional, ethical, and operational standards that govern how we deliver our services.
Last updated: 1 January 2026
1. Purpose and scope
These Policies & Procedures set out the professional, ethical, and operational standards that Board Assessment Services applies across all engagements. They apply to our personnel, associates, and contractors, and complement the Terms & Conditions and any signed services agreement. Where a signed services agreement conflicts with these policies, the services agreement prevails.
2. Professional standards and ethics
We conduct all assessment, coaching, and advisory work with integrity, objectivity, and independence. Our practitioners adhere to recognised professional and psychometric standards, avoid conflicts of interest, and decline or disclose any engagement where impartiality could reasonably be questioned.
We only administer validated instruments for which our practitioners hold the appropriate qualifications and publisher accreditation.
3. Confidentiality and data handling
Assessment responses, results, and engagement materials are treated as strictly confidential and are accessible only to authorised practitioners directly involved in the engagement. Information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Reports and debriefs are shared only with individuals expressly authorised by the participant or client, on the basis agreed at the outset of the engagement.
4. Engagement and assessment procedures
Every engagement begins with a written scope confirming objectives, instruments, timelines, and fees. Assessments follow a consistent process: briefing, administration under standardised conditions, scoring and interpretation by an accredited practitioner, and a structured feedback debrief.
Participants are informed of the purpose of any assessment, how their data will be used, and their right to ask questions before, during, and after the process.
5. Quality assurance
We maintain quality through practitioner supervision, peer review of interpretive reports, and periodic review of our methodologies against current evidence and publisher guidance. Materials and frameworks are reviewed and updated on a regular cycle.
6. Complaints and feedback
We take concerns seriously. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, you may raise it in writing to info@boardassessment.services. We acknowledge complaints promptly, investigate them fairly, and aim to provide a substantive response within a reasonable period.
7. Review of these policies
These Policies & Procedures are reviewed periodically and may be updated to reflect changes in professional standards, regulation, or our practice. The current version is always available on this Site.
